Meet Mrs.Mendoza

Hola! I'm Daisy Mendoza, and I've been passionate about education since 2013. My journey has included teaching early childhood education at YVC, managing a college campus, and working in dual language classrooms. I’m currently proud to serve as the Assistant Principal at John Campbell Primary.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington in Early Childhood Education and Law, Societies, and Justice. I continued my studies with a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Concordia University, a Master’s in Teaching with a focus on Bilingual Education from Heritage University, and an Administrator Certificate from Eastern Washington University.

My daughters, Cataleya and Isabella, and I have called Selah home since 2019. They are both enrolled in the dual language program and enjoy soccer, basketball, dance, guitar, reading, and traveling! We love exploring new places, spending time outdoors, enjoying family carne asadas', and discovering new places to eat.

Each new school year brings excitement and purpose, and I feel honored to help lead our incredible school community alongside our dedicated principal, amazing staff, and wonderful students.
